Dancer with negative space
Day 4
Jetzt werde ich langsam warm. Skizzieren ist einfacher geworden.
Die Leute bewegen sich ständig während der Proben. Ich benutze am liebsten den Pinsel, aber immer noch hat man wenig Zeit, um mehr als ein paar Striche zu machen. Deswegen benutze ich viel die negative Flächen.
Hier ist ein Tänzer in verschiedenen Stellungen während er die Hinweise des Choreographen folgt. Für diese Zeichnung benutze ich ein Da Vinci Eichhörnchen Pinsel. Dieser Pinsel kann viel Farbe und gleichzeitig eine feine Spitze halten.
Now I am getting warmer. People move contantly during the rehersals. I prefer to use the brush but even then you don't have the time to do more than few strokes. For that reason I like to use the negative space.
Here is one dancer in different positions, resting while listening to the advices of the choreographer.
For this painting I used a Da Vinci squirrel brush. The brush catches a lot of water while conserving a fine tip.

Tango In Hannover
I already told some friends , but now that is official I will tell you about this wonderful project I am going to be working in January-February in Hannover, Germany.
I am going to be sketching the Ballet company of the Hannover Staatsopern. The Choreograph is Jörg Mannes and the music will be tango.
I will be following the rehearsals and I will be telling stories in a blog about this wonderful world that is a theater. I got thousand ideas, things I want to try and experiment. There is going to be an exhibition in the Staatsopern on March 28 and there is also a catalog will be available.
